Story Ideas

Idea One 

Genre:Drama

Beginning - A girl who is terminally ill wakes up in a hospital bed. She is feeling strangely better in comparison from her previous pain that she has suffered from. A nurse wakes her up and says she is so proud of the recovery of the girl she is going to be allowed to leave the hospital for the day. She is nervous about this, as her family and her other relationships have been directly affected by her illness. Her friends are too upset to see her, her mother and father are on the brink of splitting up and she feels like her boyfriend who she has a rocky relationship has only stayed with her out of pity. As she visits her friends and family one by one, they seem distant and sad. She struggles to communicate with them from what they're going through.
Middle - She goes to knock at the door at her parents house, but she sees her mum and dad in an intense argument, throwing things and being slightly physical. This upsets her, so she goes to see her friend. Her friend walks with her at the park. She tells her how upset she is. She has marks around her neck. When the ill girl asks her what they are, she wont tell her. Finally she goes to see her boyfriend, and she realises hears him in the room with another girl. She knocks and shouts, but he completely ignores her cries.
End - Distraught, she goes back to the hospital, distressed at how nobody has bothered with her and all the sadness she has seen. When she returns to her room, her family are all stood into her room. They are looking down at her bed. The sheets are drawn back and she sees her body on the bed. She realises she is in spirit form. Her best friend hung herself as she couldn't cope with her death. You find out the girl her boyfriend was with was a councillor to help him cope, and her parents couldn't be together as the death of the daughter made their relationship crumble.

Idea Two - 

Genre: Drama/Horror

Beginning- Students are working in a class room. There are several stereotypes around the room. The kids who want to get on with their work, people talking, the bad kids throwing things etc. A typical classroom setting. All of a sudden a gun shot is heard. There is panic around the room. One of them takes the lead and tries to get them to settle so they can come up with a plan. As they are discussing their plan, one of them nominates themselves to keep watch. Tragically, he ends up being shot from the window.

Middle- Things are really beginning to get serious. They hear the door about to open. They all hide away. They are reassured that it is just the teacher, who heroically has come to help. After a big struggle and several gun shots, he leads them to another room, which is much safer. The students and the teacher begin to plan their escape, letting several students who have found the room in among the way.

End- The teacher tells the students he's going to get himself to the school phone to call for help. The students agree to this and wait for his return. However, after exiting the room, he comes into contact with the killer. We expect the killer to shoot the teacher, however, it turns out that the teacher is in on the shooting. He wanted to appear to be a 'survivor' of the shooting and sell his story as the 'heroic teacher' He has gathered the students together to make it easier for the boy to kill them, who was a weird kid at school who was payed by the teacher to do it.
