Final Story Idea

Final A2 storyline idea 

Beginning: The sound of a heart monitor can be heard as the opening titles are appearing on the screen. The opening scene will be a point of view shot of someone walking up in a hospital bed. As she opens her eyes, she sees her best friend peering over her and encourages her to get up and out of bed. She's confused to why she is in the hospital but her friend is dismissive and encourages her to sneak out of the hospital with her for the day. The friend persuades her to go and visit her parents and surprise them by being out of the hospital. When both girls arrive at her house they walk through the door and hear the girls parents arguing in the kitchen. The friend persuades her to come back later and see her parents and decides to go on a walk with her.

Middle: The girls are heading for the boyfriends house and comes across an accident scene. Flowers and cards are laid out at the side of the road and police tape is still there. The girl seems sympathetic and picks up a card to see who has died. The card leads 'RIP'. She looks at her friend and says 'Oh my god, imagine if it was me'. Her friend shrugs it off and they both carry on there way to the boyfriends house. Along the way, Lola notices marks on her friends neck. Once again, her friend dismisses her and they arrive at the boyfriends house. She knocks on the door a few times which has no response so she presses her ear against the door to hear her boyfriend talking to another girl. Both girls have a dispute and Lola heads back to the hospital.

Ending: Lola barges into the hospital room distressed to find her parents looking down grieving over a sheet covered body on a hospital bed. She slowly walks straight towards it and pulls back the sheet to discover the dead body is herself. The accident is shown. Everything flashes back to explain the story and the audience realises the events. The audience sees the parents conversation, the boyfriends councillor, the friend hanging herself. The present is shown with her friend back in the hospital room and they have a brief conversation.
