Lola

 

Actor/actress: Jessica Shutt
Name: Lola Jones
Age: 16
Occupation: Student
Nationality: White/British
Appearance: Lola has long brown hair, green eyes and is around 5ft 8. Lola will look quite unwell and pale with a few cuts and bruises on her face from where the car has fit her. Lola will be at first, wearing a hospital gown but will later change into some casual clothes such as a pair of jeans and a baggy top. Lola will be wearing very little makeup as she has just woken up from what appears to be a coma, however, she will have some makeup on from the accident.
Character traits: Lola has quite a dry sense of humour but is a quiet shy around people she doesn't really know. Lola likes spending time with her friends, boyfriend and family and is an only child. Lola is just a regular teenage girl who enjoys gossiping and takes pride in her appearance as in the film she tells her best friend Hannah ' I don't want to see my boyfriend looking like this'. Like any other teenager, Lola is dependent on her mobile phone and communicates to her boyfriend, friends and family through it. Lola leads an active lifestyle and is pupil at her local ballet school and also is a member of the school chess team.

Hannah

Name: Hannah Jackson
Age: 16
Occupation: Student
Nationality: White/British
Appearance: Hannah is around 5ft 6 and has long blonde hair and green eyes. She will be wearing bright coloured, eccentric clothes to reflect her bubbly personality. Hannah will be wearing a skirt, top and boots. Hannah will be wearing black glasses and her nails and makeup will be quite bright and funky.
Character traits: Hannah is a very confident, bubbly, happy young lady. She is best friends with Lola and has grown up with her. She lives very close to Lola so they spend a lot of time together. Hannah is very sociable and loves spending time with her friends and going out. Hannah always tries to bring out the best in people and is quite a popular, well known young lady. Hannah leads and active lifestyle and regularly goes swimming at her local swimming bath and also likes cross country running. Hannah is very intelligent but also lives life on the edge and always tries to push people to their limits. Hannah commits suicide after finding it difficult to live with the guilt from Lola's death as she was with Lola at the time of the accident. 

Tom

Actor/actress: Danny Milne
Name: Tom  Williams
Age: 18
Occupation: Student
Nationality: White/British
Appearance: Tom is around 5ft 10. He has brown hair and blue eyes and has stubble  on his face. This will be to show that he's not shaven in a few days because he is mourning Lola's death. Tom will dress quite casual so will probably wear either jeans or jogging bottoms, trainers and a polo or plain tee. Tom will be wearing quite dark coloured clothing to reflect his personality.
Character traits: Tom is a loving, caring character who displays his affection for his girlfriend Lola. He comes across quite evasive and blunt as he's finding it difficult to accept the fact that Lola is actually dead. Tom leads an active, social life and enjoys playing varies sports including football and rugby and spending time with his friends and family. Lola and Tom have been dating for approximately 3 years.  Tom is also living with the guilt of Lola's death as he feels somewhat responsible. Tom was supposed to pick Lola up the day she was run over therefore is undergoing counselling to try and help him deal with his emotions.



Lola's mum

Actor/actress: Lisa Shutt
Name: Sharron Jones
Age: 44
Occupation: Retail Manager
Nationality: White/British
Appearance: Sharron is around 5ft 6 and has short dark brown hair and green eyes. Sharron will be dressed quite casually but still quite smartly. Sharron will be wearing a long skirt and top and because she is in the house, she will be wearing flip flops. Sharron will be wearing minimal makeup but will be wearing a prominent red lipstick.
Character traits: Sharron is Lola's mum and is struggling to come to terms with Lola's death. Her and her husband Eric are in constant disagreement as they both feel responsible and guilty for Lola's death. Sharron is a career orientated person and although she does spent a lot of time with her family, she tends to prioritise her work and feels guilt as she doesn't think she gave Lola as much attention and love as she should have. Sharron is quite an outgoing, confident character.
Lola's dad

Actor/actress: Glyn Shutt
Name: Eric Jones
Age: 50
Occupation: Plumber
Nationality: White/British
Appearance: Eric is around 5ft 8 with blue eyes and finely shaven greyish hair. Eric is Sharron's husband and Lola's dad. Eric will be wearing trousers and a polo shirt. Eric will be wearing quite dull colours to reflect the fact that both him and Sharron are still in mourning over Lola's death.
Character traits: Eric is quite an outgoing, happy, positive character who loves his family very much. Himself and his wife both enjoy socialising together ( going out for meals and to pubs) but Eric also loves a night out with all the lads. Eric lives an active lifestyle and alongside his work, plays gold and on a Sunday meets up with some old friends for a friendly game of cricket.

Psychiatrist

Actor/actress: Jade Cash
Name: Stacey Harris
Age: 26
Occupation: Psychiatrist
Nationality: White/British
Appearance: Stacey is around 5ft 2 and has average length brown hair. Stacey will be dressed smartly and professionally to reflect her profession. Stacey will be wearing a smart dress and small heals and also wearing glasses. Stacey will also be holding a folder containing information about all her clients where she writes down their progress
Character traits: Stacey is an intelligent, young, wealthy women. She is caring and shows a genuine interest in each of her clients and has a real passion in helping people. She has been counselling Tom for a few weeks since the death of Lola and is working very closely with him to ensure that she gets him back on track with his life as soon as possible.
